At Ready Pretty HQ, we believe in giving back.  And when we stumbled across My Favorite Outfit, on Instagram, we knew instantly that we wanted to help.

My Favorite Outfit (MFO), a Chicago non-profit, uses fashion to build self-esteem in at-risk girls by providing them with the opportunity to take control of their appearance. MFO partners with schools in Chicago's underserved communities to reward students for their hard work and to build their self-esteem through signature pop-up boutiques.

"91% of girls who attend a MFO pop-up boutique report feeling more confident."

According to their site, girls’ body satisfaction hits rock bottom between the ages of 12 and 15. By middle school, up to 70% of girls are dissatisfied with two or more parts of their body, and once in high-school the majority of girls report having low self-esteem.

Students with low self-esteem perform worse in school than students with high self-esteem, and we believe all students, especially girls, have the right to perform at their full potential.

This week, we’ll be volunteering at an MFO pop-up boutique to show our support and from May 18th - 25th , 20% of every single Ready Pretty purchase will be donated to this incredible organization.

We’re so honored to support the work of My Favorite Outfit - keep up the amazing work ladies.
