First of all, high-five from all of us! You’re doing a great job! It’s a tough one and we understand that sometimes your style is that absolute last thing on the never-ending list of to-do’s.

Achieving that cool mom style is easy with key basics that are comfortable yet pulled together, creating that easy but stylish look you’ve always wanted.

Jeans + Tee + Jacket: This is our absolute favorite tip ever.  If you’ve worked with our stylists in the past then you’ve heard it before. A well-fitting jacket or blazer always pulls an outfit together. It’s fool proof. Not only is it comfortable, but it’s a way to create structure without the stuffiness. Ask your stylist for a few solid neutral blazer options or maybe add some color like the fun gerber daisy pattern below.

Cool Athleisure: Emphasis on the word cool.  Leave the baggy sweatshirt at home. Brands like Beyond Yoga, Outdoor Voices and Alo and Fabletics all have really cute prints and cuts. And consider a fun “fancy” sneaker that has bright colors or cool tones with more of a style point of view. Nike always has great options and J.Crew's collaboration with New Balance resulted in some awesome styles. Throw a jean jacket over the top of printed leggings, a basic neutral tee and your fancy sneakers. Easy outfit and a very cool, undone vibe.

You can be a mom and still dress cool. The two are not mutually exclusive. You just need the tools and help from your Ready Pretty Stylist to put the right pieces together.  - Kara, mom of 3 and Real Ready Pretty user

Dresses: It’s the one-piece solution to your morning routine.  This is where you can have fun with variety - a few simple shifts that hit at the knee to wear without or without a belt, a fit and flare cotton printed option for the days you have to dress it up a bit, and a few easy maxi’s for running around getting all those errands done in a flash.  Ask your stylist to pull some great daytime dresses to help make getting dressed a whole lot simpler.
