Cocktail parties and the winter holidays! Two of our favorite things! And guess what? Combined, they’re even greater. Change up your usual cocktail party look with a dash of fun holiday color with your shoes and accessories, so you can show your spirit without looking over the top. Feeling chilly? Opt for winter’s hottest trend with a sophisticated yet stylish faux fur coat. Add hint of color to stay warm and elevate your look at the same time! If you want to add a little personality to your go to cocktail party go to dress, try something with subtle sequins! With sequins concentrated on a small area like the sleeves, you get to glimmer and shine like the holiday lights without doing too much. Adding sequins makes your look so much more fun than just a little black dress, and it’s the perfect way to spice up your usual cocktail party look just in time for the holidays!
One of our favorite things to do during the winter is to ice skate with the family. Ice skating with the family in Millenium Park? Ten times better and ten times the reason to make sure your outfit is not only cute but also stylish! Make sure your look is comfortable and warm by sticking do a classic pair of jeans and layering your tops. A sweater, vest and scarf combo always does the trick, but if its a little too chilly, throw on a cute jacket on top! The ice rink can be a little chillier than it looks so make sure you have a pair of earmuffs and gloves on hand!

Leave the black puffer coat at home. We repeat, leave the black coat at home! This time of year can get a little dreary - you're wardrobe certainly doesn't have to be! We love the way this cozy lilac wool coat gets layered over easy neutral and metallic hues. It's the perfect form meets function outfit that wins big on style!
