First of all... how cute is our intern?! Second of all, we can't believe it's almost time for her to go! Meet Briana, our our RP summer intern that's seriously helped us this summer in some big ways. We're going to miss you Briana, but wish you the absolute best of luck in the future!
Ready on to see more about her style, the fashion trend she totally regrets and her advice for finding your own unique style.
Tell us a little about yourself. Describe your style?
My name is Briana and I am currently studying Media Marketing and Public Relations! For the past 7 years I have been working as an esthetician and make-up artist! I love everything fashion, beauty, and health related. I am a proud dog mama to Rizzo and if I could live on the beach I would. Describing my style is a tough one, I usually just buy pieces I’m drawn too, BUT I would say classic and feminine would be a good description!
What’s one of your favorite pieces in your wardrobe and why?
One of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe would have to be my Jcrew seersucker yellow ruffle maxi dress! Just thinking about it makes me swoon! It is a timeless piece that will never go out of style! It can be dressed up or down which I love, but the feeling I get when wearing it is why I love it so much!
Favorite ways to spend a Sunday?
First coffee, then a long walk with Rizz man! I also love to grocery shop (I’m weird, I know). Something about it is so soothing to me! Spending the evening with family
tops it all off.
What are you most excited about doing at Ready Pretty?
I would have to say writing content for the Ready Pretty Blog. I have always dreamt of living in the city and writing about fashion! Also, learning more about what it takes to be apart of the PR industry.
What’s your favorite spring/summer trend?
I would have to say my favorite summer trend are bow back dress and blouses. Nothing is more feminine and flirty that an open back with a bow!
What’s the one style/outfits you've worn that you now (looking back) totally regret?!
Dickies…does anyone even remember when Dickies were cool?! This is so embarrassing, but unfortunately so true.
Any advice for women trying to find their style?
BE YOU! I feel as though so many women put pressure on themselves to look “perfect,” but that is not what being stylish is about! Not everything works for every body type, find pieces that flatter YOU and make YOU feel your most beautiful!
We'll miss you!
That said, we're on the hunt for our next great intern to help us launch the RPShoppes! Are you the one? Know someone? Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your resume and cover letter! YAY!
