The Power of Collaboration: How to Leverage Partnerships for Growth

Collaborations are a crucial element to your brand's marketing strategy. By working together with other brands you can gain access to new audiences, share resources and increase credibility.

At Ready Pretty, we build a collabs and partnerships approach into every single client we work with. We’re always thinking about who we can connect or who we need to reach out to - we love connecting our clients with complementary brands.  In this blog post, we'll share some collaboration tips we've learned along the way, and how to help you get the most from your next partnership program.

Popups: We always suggest doing what you can to get in front of a new audience, which is simple to do if you can piggyback off of another shop's foot (and web!) traffic. This is also a nice way to dip your toes into retail if you are strictly online. At Ready Pretty you’ll often hear our team say “It never hurts to ask!” - if there is a local boutique or shop that you love, simply ask if they would be willing to host you. Sometimes a shop will charge a fee to sell in their space, but oftentimes they do not. If you are lucky enough to have your own storefront, go ahead and host at your own location. Invite other local businesses to pop up in your space and soon all of the locals that frequented those businesses will know where yours is located now too.

Giveaways:  Giveaways are a fun and effective way to engage with your audience and grow your reach. By hosting a giveaway with brands that share your vision you can begin to build new relationships. The more brands the merrier! Locate businesses in your area, complementary products you like, brands with similar audiences, and services your customers might enjoy. Make sure to look through connections you already have and don’t be nervous to cold call (or email or DM!) places you admire. Also, take your social media giveaway to the next level by setting up a giveaway landing page that includes an email sign-up element. Remember, growing your email list should be a top priority in your marketing goals.

Guest Blog: Blogs are not only a great way to share your thoughts and ideas with your customers, but they can also do wonders for your SEO. An effective way to expand your reach and attract new readers is by featuring guest bloggers on your blog or guest blogging on other websites. This can help you tap into new audiences and connect with like-minded individuals and businesses. By sharing your expertise and insights with others, you can establish yourself as a thought leader or resource in your industry and build a loyal following of readers and fans.

Lend to Photoshoots: Stylists often require clothing to borrow and use in photoshoots, while commercials may need to borrow props. It's important to explore opportunities to collaborate with other businesses or individuals to get your product working with theirs. By being open to collaboration, you can expand your reach and increase your visibility to reach your brand goals.

The Denim Bar Case Study

How The Denim Bar Increased Their Revenue and Doubled Their Email Audience

Newly launched Denim Bar, based in Arlington Heights is offering a new way for women to shop for denim. As a completely new (and unknown brand) a critical element to our launch strategy was building strategic partnerships right from the start. Over the course of 6 weeks, the Ready Pretty team researched, coordinated and executed more than 10 branded partnerships that included pop-ups, social collabs and more that had an immediate impact on our client's bottom line.  Month after month The Denim Bar’s revenue doubled along with their email subscriber list. In addition, the brand's social media engagement skyrocketed from the previous month. With a strategic approach to partnerships, we were able to drive broad awareness and sales for The Denim Bar.
